At Covington Manor, they provide a completely customized experience tailored to you. Want a picnic on the lawns or a boozy brekky in bed? They’ll make it happen.
Nestled in the serene countryside of Cambridge, Wisconsin, Covington Manor stands as a timeless testament to Victorian elegance fused with modern comfort. As the new owners, the Carmody family sought to breathe new life into this storied estate, while preserving the rich history... creating a place where guests could escape the ordinary and immerse themselves in luxury without sacrificing the charm of authentic country living.
Business owner, LeighAnn, came to be through a referral from Shelby at Saltwater Designs, who advised her that the investment into professional design, doesn’t mean much without the investment into professional website copywriting. As a busy mum and business owner, it didn’t take much to convince LeighAnn to free up some time and hand over the reins… so she did, and she couldn’t have been happier with the final outcome.
In fact, she immediately booked me for another VIP Day for her other business, and we’ve kept the relationship going since.

At the heart of our strategy for Covington Manor lay a clear goal: to honour its rich heritage while embracing the vision of the Carmody family. Our aim was to pay homage to the estate's legacy while ushering in a new era of modern luxury.
Our approach centred on spotlighting Covington Manor's unique blend of history, elegance, and personalised service. We focused heavily on Covington Manor's tailored experiences, like customised breakfasts and curated events, all designed to delight and inspire. But, we did so keeping in line with the brand voice – steering away from stuffy, and leaning into fun and fresh.
For instance: “Our home may be historic, but our approach to accommodation is anything but.”
Through engaging narratives, we traced the estate's journey from its beginnings through the ages to its current charm. As part of this brand story, we crafted a personalised note from the Carmody family, which reflected their genuine connection to Covington Manor.

One of my favorite projects, and one that really pushed the limits of an eight-hour VIP day. But, also a testament to how much you can get done with laser-sharp focus and a client who has complete, unwavering trust in your vision.
