2/ the Kick-Off
Decided to go ahead? Fab. You’ll fill out the Copy Brief and email me any other documents I need. Then, we'll jump on another call to take a deeper dive into you and your brand. We’ll go through the brief in detail, and I'll work with you to uncover what really sets you apart.
3/ the Research
This is where I dive into the creative process. To start, I’ll conduct in-depth research to help me get laser-focused on our message. This includes:
Understanding your product or service, including features and benefits.
Identifying and researching your target market - including their pains and desires.
Strategizing your position statement.
Analyzing your competition and working out how we can position you above them.
Explore and select relevant keywords to ensure our copy is SEO focused.
4/ the Writing
Once I’ve completed the groundwork, I’ll brainstorm, write, workshop, re-write and edit until I have finalised the first draft.
5/ the First Look
I'll present to you some copy snippets via Google Docs. Here, we can discuss what's working for you and what’s not. Honesty is important. After all - we’re a team - and we’re here to create the perfect final product.
6/ the Review & Revision
Once we are confident I can continue, I will finalise the remaining copy and send it through for your review and refinements.
7/ the Finished Product
Cue the confetti… your project is complete! Don’t worry, I won't love you and leave you. I’ll continue to work with you and your designer to ensure your copy + design pairs as perfectly as cheese and wine.
